PUBLIC GRID EVALUATIONS

Public Grid Evaluations is a state-backed initiative assisting in the modernization of California’s energy infrastructure. We are program architects with a public mandate to improve grid safety and reliability. Our funding is allocated to achieve specific resilience goals, not to make sales. Using advanced analytics, we identify specific homes that can deliver the greatest impact on grid stability. We then extend invitations to those homeowners to participate in strengthening their community’s power reliability. You cannot buy your way into this program – you can only be selected to join. By empowering these select homes with solar + battery systems, we lower costs for the participants and add critical stability to the wider grid, making the entire community safer and more energy-resilient.

Helping homeowners reduce grid strain and stabilize energy costs in your community.

Please see the map below to identify the priority tier your home falls under:

Green: Tier #1
Yellow: Tier #2
Red: Tier #3

(Please note: This program is dynamically expanding across the state, addressing the most critical grid needs. Check back regularly for updates to these zones)

Excessive power grid strain is affecting large areas of the state. Grid failures are the cause of large fires, such as the PG&E fire of 2017 and the Eaton fire of 2024.

Grids are actively monitored for signs of excess strain. When grids approach these thresholds, evaluations and conversions are performed as an initial preventive effort prior to large infrastructure maintenance.
